Diane White is the MURDOCK Study Follow-Up Raffle winner for the second quarter of 2018!White joined the MURDOCK Study when it first started in 2009. She said she enrolled because she wanted to help shape the future of medicine. With a family history of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, White wanted to contribute to the advancement of clinical research and the understanding of health and disease. She said she completes her Annual Follow-Up Form every year because she wants MURDOCK Study researchers to have as much information and data as possible. White now resides in Concord. She retired after 31 years as an inventory controller for a company in Charlotte. In her spare time, White participates in church activities and spends time with her grandchildren. For her raffle prize, she chose a $150 gift card to Sam’s Club and plans to buy something she normally wouldn’t — something for herself. And maybe a little something for her grandchildren, too.
