Ms. Kingsbury came to the Duke University MURDOCK Study team in July 2014 from Carolinas Healthcare System, where she worked in research specializing in traumatic brain injury. Originally from Dallas, North Carolina, she lives in Cornelius with her husband, two children and dog Chloe. Ms. Kingsbury graduated from Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science degree in human services and psychology.
Ms. Kingsbury enjoys working in research because it allows her to meet people in the community and see how the contribution of each individual serves a larger purpose to benefit the community as a whole. When not working, her interests include reading, spending time with friends and family and going to the beach.
